Thurston, Abner (1729-1778)DARPI Vol 3 pg 2935 - Corporal for New Hampshire. Per Lineage books he served in the first New Hampshire regiment and is reported as having been killed in action. Per B Thurston he enlisted in the war Mar 20, 1777 in Captain Wait's Company, Col. John Starks's regiment and was paid state bounty of 20 pounds. Jan 22, 1778 was in Captain Farwell's compnay, Col. Joseph Cilley's Regiment. He became a corporal and was reported to have been killed in action.
